All right whose excited spring is just a few months away? Since Houston has had some confusing weather lately all I can say is I’m looking forward to spring, and hopefully having some temps that don’t vary so much. One days it’s in the 80’s and the next day it’s in the high 40’s. I mean how’s a girl to plan an outfit with crazy weather like that?

Okay, I’m officially off my soap box about that because look at this cute outfit. Rompers are still very in, and the OTS trend isn’t going anywhere. So, this is the best of both worlds. I opted for pops of pink, and neutrals because these are two my favorites. This cute lip kit is nice because it’s the perfect transitional pink lip kit. Classic Style + Dark Denim and Boots

Happy Monday!! I am dragging. Between celebrating my sons second birthday over the weekend, and my daughter, Sofia, boycotting sleeping Starbucks has been my BFF. We had the best time at the zoo. He loved seeing all the different animals. My personal favorite was probably the Flamingos because they are pretty and pink.

So, last week we had a few days where the temps were in the mid 50’s. It was the perfect time to get these Vince Camuto boots out from last season. I seriously love these because they aren’t too tall for me, and they have the cutest gold hardware accents. You know this lady loves herself some gold!! At 5 feet nada I have to be careful because if the boots come up too high on my legs I get self conscious that they are cutting my legs off, and then my legs look like tree trunks. That’s a thing, right?Since my boots felt a little edgy I decided to go with a classic outfit. I mean what’s more classic than a button down and dark denim?

Blush Floral Dress

Today is the day before Valentine’s, and I’m more excited about my son attending his first Valentines party. It might have something to do with him getting older, and really starting to have his own personality. He’s this fun loving toddler that smiles, gives his mom and dad big hugs, and gives his sister hugs and kisses. Seriously, there are days I have to pinch myself because I’m so proud of the way he’s adjusted to being a big brother. He loves her so much, but he won’t share any of his toys with her. It’s pretty funny how he simply takes his toy back like this is mine.

If you have plans for the big day, and want to get dressed up, or down this is one of my favorite dresses to wear. It’s sold out, but the Devlin Collection has a dress in the same print that is really pretty. I linked it above, and I’ll link in below as well. I dressed it down here, and I love dresses that can be worn lots of different ways. That’s usually how I justify the cost of dresses that are a little bit more of a splurge item for me. So, what are your big plans for the big day?

I think we’re staying in, and celebrating once both our babies are tucked in for the night. We will probably have a little extra dessert and champagne. Champagnes one of my favorite little splurges to have here and there. So I’m excited to celebrate our 9th Valentine’s together.
