Happy 2020! I feel like that needs to be said because it’s a new year which means a fresh start and new possibilities. Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely holiday and celebrated with the ones you hold close. I’m pretty excited to see what this year holds for my family and this passion project my blog. I’ve decided to step back and make some changes. These are changes if I’m being really honest with myself that has been coming for some time. I was hoping to figure out a way to balance it all without cutting back but that isn’t realistic. So I have decided for now there will be one post a week here. The rest of the time I’ll add details for sales and any updates to Instagram. This should hopefully give me some balance.
Alright, let’s talk 2020 New Years Resolutions and goals I have for this year so far. I am finally really organizing our study aka my side of the study. The bookshelves are still an absolute mess, but I’m in the sorting phase. So that is my project to go through, clean up, and find some organization. That way I can make it a working space.
My next goal will sound a little clique, especially for the New Year because you have probably heard lots of people already talking about getting in shape. I almost didn’t mention it but I know this is something important to me and so I wanted to share it with y’all. With that being said I tried to work out at home but mom life was always getting in the way. There was always lots of interruptions when I worked out at home. Inevitably it was really hard to find that rhythm and get a solid workout in. I joined a gym. It feels a little weird at times thinking of something just for me, but I think it’s a really good thing. My big workout goals are to get in shape, tone up, lose a little weight, and have my body feel as much like it did before having kids. I know it won’t be easy but I know starting is the first step towards making changes. I will definitely share a recap soon on the first few weeks of getting back into the gym and working out.
The next goal is the blog. I want this to be a positive place for y’all to come to and somewhere you can learn and we can chit chat. Almost like having coffee with a girlfriend and catching up. So I plan to share outfits, of course, more beauty content in 2020 and more of what goes on in my daily life as well as what blogging for me looks like. These are goals I plan on implementing throughout the year. Which makes me excited to work on new and different content for y’all. I am sad I have to cut back for now, but I know it won’t be forever. It will probably be just a few months.
Those are my three big goals for this year! I can’t wait to start! Thank you so much for stopping by! I love getting to chat with Y’all!
