Good morning! Okay, it’s that time! Finally sharing my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale try-on session. The sale is open to Early Access Nordstrom credit card holders right now. It opens to the public on the 19th. So there are lots of items that are really good this year and these are the ones I think so cute. There are some other ones I really wanted to try but my local Nordstrom didn’t have them in stock. I have put an order in and can’t wait for it to arrive.
Alright, here’s what you can expect. First, everything I am trying on is also under the highlight Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on Instagram in my stories. Second, if you like something get it now because I don’t know if they are going to be restocking very much this year. What I mean by that is put in your cart and check out asap. That way you can shop more stuff after. I can’t tell you how many times I had xyz cardigan or dress in my cart and then it would disappear when I was ready to check out. Caslon Light Weight Color Block Tee
This top comes in a few colors and it is such a good cut. It runs true to size (tts). If you are petite like me I would suggest going down one size. I tried the small and xs on and the xs fit just a little better. I think this is going to SELL OUT FAST.
Wit and Wisdom High Waist Ab Solution Skinny Jeans
This is a new brand of jeans I came across at the sale and boy do I love them. Let me share why they are so cool. First, they feel like sweatpants on the inside even though they are clearly jeans and not jeggings or anything. Love them. I would suggest going with your regular size. They have this really cool technology that helps to flatten your tummy. If you click the link you can see a video that Nordstrom posted showing the inside. These are really amazing and such an amazing price point with or without the sale. They come in petite sizes too. I did have to do a small cuff when wearing booties but it wasn’t enough to need them hemmed.

This cardigan is so soft and comes in a few colors. It runs big. I would size down one size and if you are petite I would size down 2 sizes. It just makes the sleeves not bunch too much and look too long. I love the good sized pockets too. Definitely can hold my phone. This will SELL OUT FAST.
This tee is beyond soft and runs tts. It comes in 8 colors. Which is amazing because it’s such a good staple to have and be able to rework into lots of cute outfits. Really good basic.
These jeans run tts and are really flattering and soft. They do run a little long which isn’t a deal breaker. I would just take them to my alterations lady to get a stitch in reseam. Basically, they reattach the original hemline/ aka bottom of the jeans. People won’t know the difference. I think it costs a little extra but it’s worth it with designer jeans.

This sweatshirt is really soft and feels lived in without looking lived in. Size down one size. Runs a little big. It comes in a really cute animal print version too. This will SELL OUT FAST.
They run tts and are one of my favorite purchases. I’ve wanted some Paige jeans for as long as I can remember. They do run long so if you are petite you will need to get them altered.
These flats are seriously so comfortable and cushiony. They come in a few other colors just in case snakeskin isn’t your thing. I love the fit and would love to get them in a few more colors.
This tunic runs big. I would size down one size. If you are petite 5’3 and under I would size down 2 sizes. It comes in a few other colors and is so cute! I love the smock detail. It is like an adult version of some of the dresses my Grandma Ida use to make me. It is long enough to wear as a dress if you are petite. I will share a picture of how it looks too. Okay so I just shared this tunic above but had to share this top can be worn 2 different ways if you’re petite or want to add leggings with it. It runs big so definitely size down one size.

This is one of those pieces that doesn’t look like much on the hanger but is so cute. It comes in few more colors and runs tts.

Treasure and Bond Pleated Blouse
First off let me say I thought I was going to love this blouse. Here are my thoughts. It runs really big. So size down 1 size and if you are petite size down probably 2 sizes. Alright, let’s chat about the rest of the stuff about this top that I like and dislike. First I love the pleats at the top and the style of top. I wasn’t sure about yellow but really liked the color. Third, it is really long in the back in comparison to the front. It looks pretty weird and unproportionate if you do a front tuck because it is so long in the back. I will say if you plan on wearing it completely tucked into skirts and pants then I would get it. Otherwise, it’s a hard pass.
