The first day of August is this Monday, and for me this signifies the end of the summer. Outfits like this are my favorite laid back type of outfit for the end of the summer get togethers. Especially when it starts to feel a little chillier outside. I know that it’s very far off here in Houston because the temps are high, and the humidity is crazy high. Hello bad hair days. Keeping a curl in this hair has not been easy lately. Okay back on topic. I love this Lush top, and it’s on sale for under $30!! It comes in a lot of different colors too!! Woo hoo!! Okay with the NSale open to the public, I thought it would be easier to find everything in one place. Here is everything I’m loving so far, and I’ll try to get a review of everything I’ve purchased so far on the blog Friday. It’s been a little hard the last week, and half because my son has been teething, running a fever, and needing lots of mommy and daddy time. All things that come with teething, and molars coming in. Seriously not sure where the time has gone. It feels like yesterday he was a month old. Hopefully between a few nap times I can get it all together. Hope y’all are having a great week!! Light Blue Dress + Blush Sunnies

Happy Monday!! I thought with the weather being crazy warm it was the perfect time to take a break from the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and share this summer time look. This dress is my new saving grace with all the rising temps. I love the color, and it’s not crazy thick so it breaths really well. Ohh and it’s long enough without being too long for all the short gals out there like me. That is definitely an on going problem when looking for dresses. Between my growing bump, boobs, and bum I need dresses that cover without looking like the dress is wearing me. (Sorry this might have been a little too honest!! Oops, but it’s real life.) This isn’t a maternity dress so please pick this cute little number up. Ohh, and if you’re pregnant my suggestion is just size up one size to have room for your bump.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! We had lots of plans to do fun activities with Manny Jr., but the teething has been kicking all of our bums. I think he has molars possibly coming in because the last 3 nights have been so bad. Poor little man can barely eat anything he usually eats because of the impending teeth coming in. I still can’t believe my 17 month old has at least 10 teeth. Holy moly where is the time going. I remember when he was just days old. Feels like just yesterday. I remember my mom saying to soak in every moment, and now I see why. Because it really does go by quickly. Okay I won’t talk your ear off anymore about teething.

In other news, little man did get new shoes. His little foot grew, and the ladies at Stride Rite in The Woodlands Mall took such good care of us. Seriously the ladies that work there are the most patient. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a fabulous start to your week!!
