There are a few things that make me think of the holidays… Plaid, Starbucks red cups, and  cozy sweaters are most definitely a few of them. This plaid button down is one of my favorites because of the color, cut, and price point. Yep I am most definitely on a budget, and this is thankfully in my budget!! Dressing up tops with shoes, and accessories are two of my favorite ways to add that extra layer of wow to an outfit. I have to admit that I love that wow factor pieces can be layered on before I leave the house. That way I still have plenty of time to play with my son while I’m getting ready, and not worry so much about his strong little grip. Let’s just say my little guy has quite the grip, and I’ve already lost a few necklaces from his strong little grip. What do you add to dress up an outfit?

I wore this to a blogger brunch last weekend. It was such a treat to meet other bloggers that have a passion for blogging, and completely understand my need to rearrange how my place setting is set up so I can take a few dozen pictures (I might be over exaggerating!) to get just the right one to capture brunch with the ladies!!
