Last Sunday, I went to brunch with some of the sweetest blogger ladies at Eloise Nichols in Houston. The restaurant had such a pretty exterior with these gorgeous hanging flowers outside, and the cutest wine wall. It was the perfect back drop for us blogger ladies that love documenting life with lots of photos. Between the delicious mimosas, lattes, brunch, and great conversation it was such a nice treat. Brunch was filled with good conversation, and lots of sharing and brainstorming. It was really nice to chat with these blogger ladies about all things blog related, and have each person share their tips and tricks. It’s amazing what you can learn from each other.

Since it was a little chilly that morning I wore this cute Lane 201 Boutique off the shoulder floral top with black skinny jeans. I love that this top has long sleeves so I can wear it now, and then bring it back out in the fall when it’s cooler out. The long sleeves are great because then I don’t need to carry a cardigan with me. Which is really great because I’m cold natured, and hate being cold. I also wore this top for a fun mommy date with my babies to the zoo.

Do ya’ll have any big plans for the weekend? I think we’re going to run errands, and hopefully pick up some takeout sushi Saturday night. I have been craving sushi the last couple of weeks, and I think I really need it. So, the perfect Saturday night for me consists of a glass of rosé and sushi please. It’s Friday, and I’m so excited for the weekend. We don’t have a date night planned this weekend, but if we did this pretty cold shoulder dress would be definitely make a big appearance. I love that it’s this gorgeous shade of blue with pops of red, pink, and white. It’s seriously my jam. I would wear this all day everyday if I could. Last Friday I had brunch at Tiny No. 5 with one of my favorite blogger mom friends, Dawn Parnell, and her cute little guy. I brought my two babies with me, and we had the best time watching our little guys share french fries, and laugh. There is something so special about watching our little guys become more independent and make friends. Dawn was so sweet, and held Sofi so I could drink my latte while it was still warm. After brunch we took the kiddos to the Houston Zoo.

On to this cute Lane 201 Boutique denim off the shoulder top. I love the color, the print, and that it’s an off the shoulder top. This is a trend I am so happy is still here, and going strong. I wore dark denim with it to keep it feeling classic, dressy, but still functional for all my momma duties. Running around with an active toddler is no joke. This got me to thinking I really need to try this because I don’t really have time reapply lipstick, but applying a clear lipgloss would only take a few seconds. That’s pretty much the time I have lately for reapplying anything. So far I really like it. It doesnt make my lips really dry like most longwear lipsticks I’ve tried in the past. Okay, I also have to take a minute to say doesn’t my sweet Sofi look so cute. Manny and I bought Sofi this precious mint eyelet flutter top, and cute bubble shorts. There is seriously some cute baby girl outfits out there. I have been shopping a lot, and thankfully I’ve lucked out on some good sales for both my kiddos. Yay!!
