Over the weekend, I wore this preppy pink outfit for a breakfast/brunch with one of my favorite people. Since it was sort of chilly I went with a button down. I really like that they come in so many bold colors and patterns now. It really adds another layer the typical button down. I went with pink because I love pink, it was Valentines weekend, and my husband really likes pink on me. The morning was such a nice treat for me before getting back to planning Manny Jr.’s first birthday. Wish me luck it’s going to be a long, but fun week with lots of extra trips to Starbucks for a double espresso over ice with a splash of milk, and caramel drizzle of course. Yes, I am that person in line with the long order, but I at least normally know what I want. Hehe!! What’s your drink of choice at Starbucks?

Valentine is typically all about the couples, but it’s also a really great time to celebrate the besties in your life. You know the ones that let you go on and on about this or that. We all hopefully have a few really good friends like this. I know mine have been my saving grace at times. Inspiring me when I needed a little pick me up, or suggesting lunch out when I had been in pjs for a few too many days. True story!! Well let’s celebrate them as well. The great thing is you can do something as simple as a nail polish color, or as elaborate as you’d like to go. This pink scarf is a steal by the way!! Might as well buy two!! That way you can be twinsies!! (Yep, I’m totally cheesy like that!!) In the spirit of Valentines, all things pink, and champagne the color of choice for this gift guide is various shades of pink!!
