Hi, guys I’m officially back, and trying to get back into the grind of blogging on the regular. I know ya’ll have probably heard about fall being right around the corner a couple dozen times today but, but I’m so ready for it. So, with my need for all things fall style wise I’m sharing a round up some of my favorites for transitioning into fall. One thing, I’ve learned from living in the south is it’s all about the layering.
1.Caslon Knit Drape Front Jacket:This carigan is a petite girls bestfriend because it doesn’t hide your waist line, and stops high enough. This helps everyone chic, and not frumpy.
2.Bp. Leopard Print Scarf:I ordered this scarf during the NSale, and can’t wait to wear it. The great thing about this scarf is it isn’t really heavy, but is still perfect for those early fall temps. This will be a great layering piece at the beginning of fall to add that little something extra.
3.The Hoola Matte Liquid Bronzer:When fall really does roll around it’ll get darker earlier, so this will help to keep our skin sunkissed looking. I love this brand.
4.Topshop Blake Mini Faux Leather Backpack:I’m in love with this backpack. I think it’s going to be a big hit for lots of cute fall outfits. The black version above is sadly sold out, but it comes in a light blue color which will be great for adding a pop of color.
5.MAC Warm Neutral Times 15 Eyeshadow Palette:This palette is seriously awesome sauce. I love the colors, and that it’s a palette that isn’t too warm toned. I really like that it is slightly warm toned without being over whelming. If I use a palette that is too warm, or too cool toned I look scary.
6.SUGARFIX by BaubleBar Druzy Drop Earrings:I’m so sad the pink version of these gorgeous earrings sold out, but I linked them in a really pretty silver and gold combo. These are the perfect statement earring, and at an awesome price point. They are under$13!!
7.Sole Society Mikayla Faux Leather & Suede Satchel:This handbag is the perfect for must have bag. It can be worn on your wrist, or as a satchel. I can already see a cute colorful scarf/neck scarf added to it. I’ve seen a lot of people going to the outlets, and picking up some really cute scarfs, and neck scarfs in the mens section of different stores.
8.Free People ‘Long Beach’ Tank:This tank feels like a cool girls tank, if that makes any sense. I love the cut, and color of it. I think this green shade is going to be really big again this year. If greens not your jam it comes in white and grey. I think the green, and grey colors are going to be great for layering. Since I can’t seem to keep my white tees white I’m staying far away from almost anything in that color family.
9.Hinge Twist Hem Tee:I love this tee, and the cute knot in the front is one of my favorite details. It makes me think of the front tuck, minus having to deal with the front tuck. It does fit a little short in front, so you’ll want to pair this with high waisted jeans.
10.Vans ‘Classic’ Sneaker:I want these sneakers so bad. They have a stylish cool girl feel to me. I think they would make the perfect shoe for looking good while keeping up with my kiddos, and their busy schedule.
1.Lucky Brand High-Low Plaid Shirt:This plaid shirt is a high low top, so it’s really figure flattering.
2.Sundry Madame Ceo Tee:This tee screams girl power. This is something I have become even more of an advocate about since having my daughter, Sofia. I want to let her know anything is possible. I know it’s a simple slogan on a tee shirt, but we have to start somewhere.
3.Bp. Layered Ruffle Hem Peplum Top:I love the ruffle peplum detail on this cute top. Oh and the blue and white stripes don’t hurt either. Also, there is something about the combination of grey, white, and blue that I absolutely love. The only thing that would make it perfect is a little pink added in. Thankfully, I can already image a pink statement earring.
4.Bp. Tiered Cotton Tank:The ruffle tank is perfect for layering with a cute cardigan or blazer. It comes in white as well.
5.Harlowe & Graham Short Sleeve Ruffle Tee:I love a good everyday peplum top that can be dressed up or down. This top definitely fits that bill, and it’s under $25!! Tops like this keep me looking pulled together without me being freaked out about little tiny hands covered in who knows what leaving hand prints on my top.
6.Hinge Off The Shoulder Velvet Top:This off the shoulder top comes in this really pretty soft pink, and a yellow too. I wish, I could wear yellow, but unfortunately it makes me look sickly.
7.Wayf Gracie Off The Shoulder Top:It’s no secret I love gingham, and off the shoulder details. This top is so cute, and I think I need it because todays a day that ends in y. Hehe!! It comes in blue, and red as well.
8.Hinge Twist Hem Tee:This tee shirt is really similar to the one I linked above, but the biggest difference is this one has a pocket. I love tees with pockets.
9.Soprano Lace Trim Camisole:Lace is back in a big way this fall, and this camisole is a perfect layering piece. If you live in the South this would be perfect with a cardigan,or really cute duster at the beginning of fall. Depending on your office dress code it would look really great with a structured blazer, and tuxedo pant. It would look really great for a night on the town too. Just add a really great pair of dark wash high waisted jeans, and a strappy heel.
Thanks so much for reading all about my favorite pieces that are perfect for transitioning into fall style. What’s your favorite thing to wear while transitioning into fall?
