I’ve had a few questions about my opinion on the Romwe site, and if it really is a legitimate site to shop from. With that in mind I wanted to share my thoughts on the Romwe because I understand shopping online can be hard. There’s a lot to take into consideration as far as sizing, fit, length, is it really going to work for my body type, and the list goes on.  I shared this outfit last spring, but thought this was the perfect example of  how to shop Romwe. The first thing I thought I’d share is my failure, and win from buying this cute Romwe White Sleeveless Geometric Tribal Print Chiffon Dress. Yes, you read that right. When I bought this it was a dress, and it just didn’t do anything for me. The chiffon was too flowy for my petite frame. I knew I loved the gorgeus colorful geometric tribal print, but the length was just not working for me. I looked like I was in a moo moo. So, with a little creativity I went to my local alterations lady, and asked her to make it a top. It was a big risk having her alter it to be a top, but I am so glad I did. Otherwise it would have sat in my closet collecting dust. The good news is Romwe has a 30 day return policy if something doesn’t work out. I’ve had more success than failure shopping Romwe. Here are a few tips to consider when shopping Romwe.

Do your Research

What I mean by this is rely on reviews by shoppers, and bloggers. You can usually find shoppers, and bloggers pretty easily through Pinterest or Instagram. I like to search the hashtags that the online boutique uses as well as look at their social media. You might find someone they have tagged in the item you want, and then you can message them your questions on fit and quality. A lot of the time people are really happy to help, and share their opinion on what they thought of the item.

Quality

Please know going in that sometimes the items aren’t the best quality. I’ve bought a few tops that were amazing quality, and a few that weren’t amazing quality. They weren’t so bad that I couldn’t wear them a few times. This is usually where I buy my favorite trendy pieces that I know might go out of style. Because let’s be real trendy pieces are in one moment, and out the next. Thankfully cold shoulder tops, and off the shoulder tops are going strong. I love those!!

Check your measurements, and then check again

Check your measurments becasue a lot of the time the measurements from one style top, dress etc. can be different from another. Also, I don’t think they go buy American sizing so checking your measurements against their measurments will save you lots of headaches and dissapointment.

Alright with all that said I would still shop Romwe becasue they have really cute trendy items. You just have to do your homework when you shop their site, and other similar sites. Even though my top started out as a dress I absolutely love it, and couldnt imagine it any other way. It’s bright and perfect for spring and summer!!

XO, Angela
