Good morning! Do y’all ever have days where you have the best intentions to get lots of stuff done and then one thing after the other seems to come up. That has basically been my afternoon and trying to get this blog post started. First I had an IT (basically a technical computer problem I could barely figure out) issue, then I tried to fix the problem, causing another IT issue. Thankfully I fixed it. I was starting to think it might not be my day.
Alright, let’s talk about why everyone needs a cute casual little black dress in their closet. I’m going to refer to it as the LBD for now on because little black dress is a mouth full to say. This one is super old, but I linked 5 really cute little black dresses that are great options. I think I bought it a few years ago and it has been one of my favorites. It’s basically a really great neutral that you can build on with accessories and layers. I went with a bright pop of turquoise for my earrings to make it feel summer ready.
If I’m having a morning where I can’t figure out anything to wear I put this LBD on, some wedges, and a denim jacket and go. The denim jacket is crucial. I feel like it adds that cool girl or cool vibe and adds a pop of color. Especially on days where I’m in pearl studs and a delicate necklace. That’s basically my mom accessory uniform most weekdays.
