The start of the New Year is in full swing, and I’m loving all the cozy sweaters. They are the perfect blend of stylish, yet still functional. For me functional means this sweater keeps me warm, doesn’t itch, and comes in lots of colors. I like to have options. I have my eye on  this sweater in grey. It keeps selling out; so I’m almost stalking it on the Nordstrom site. Ohh and I’m doing the same thing with my booties!! I want them in black, and it has been a project to find them in my size. Hopefully they will be available soon. I bought these jeans for a steal at $20 from Lucky Brand!! If you’re in need of some new denim, or just want to try a trend you’ve been on the fence on this is the perfect time to take that plunge. With prices like this if you don’t like it donating it won’t be such a pill to swallow. Thanks so much for stopping by!! I really appreciate each, and everyone of you that followed along on my blog!!

XO, Angela

Cheers To 2015 and All Its Blessings…

December 31, 2015

The year that began with Baby Manny

This year has been an amazing roller coaster of highs and lows. Thankfully, I’ve had more highs than lows in 2015. This will forever be the year my dream of becoming a mom came true. It had a few speed bumps, but it finally came true February 19th, and I can’t think of a forever job I’d want more. I feel so blessed to be Manny jr.’s mom. He has such a love for everything, and everyone he meets. There are moments that it floors me how happy he is about the simplest things in life. It has given me a new out look on trying to take in the moment; rather than trying to think five steps ahead to what needs to be done. I’m still learning how to navigate being a newish mom, but I feel like I’m getting there. We’re officially almost sleeping through the night!! Yep I’m doing a little victory dance!!

This year also marked me losing one of the most important people in my life, my mom. Instead of looking at the glass half empty I’m thanking my lucky stars for the time I had with her. I had the opportunity to talk to her almost everyday when I was pregnant. We had some of the funniest conversations. She was very patient with a very hormonal daughter that sometimes was a little sassy. I also found a silver lining to not being the most technically savvy lady. Did you know you have to delete your voicemails on your iPhone twice for them to really be deleted? This might be the moment where you are like yeah!! Well, I didn’t. So woo hoo for small silver linings. I like to hear her voice, and if I didn’t have the opportunity to it would really break my heart. There is something so comforting to know even if she’s gone I can still feel close to her that way.

I want to thank you all for your support!! It means so much to me to see your encouraging words!! Without that support I wouldn’t be able to do what I love. So far it has been an amazing journey, with lots of ups, and a few hiccups along the way. I look forward to seeing what 2016 brings with y’all by my side!! Thank you so much for your continued support and kind words!! Cheers to a happy New Year, and little glass of bubbly for all!!

XO, Angela

New Years Eve in Red

December 30, 2015

New Years Eve Outfit Ideas in red 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

New Years Eve is one of my favorite times of the year. Dressing up, wearing that dress that has a little too much sparkle for everyday life, or maybe more vava voom than usual. What’s not to like?  This New Years Eve is a little different since it’s our first one as parents. So we will be wearing new pjs in honor of New Year’s Eve, and having a little champagne toast once little man is in his crib for the night. I’m hopeful he’ll sleep through the night. Hehe!! If I was going out this gorgeous red dress would be one of the possible outfits for the night. I love the color, and the lace adds a little something extra. What are your plans for the big night? I can’t wait to hear all about them!! Hope y’all have a fabulous long weekend!!

XO, Angela
