Finding just the right outfit for holiday get togethers can be hard. Normally I look for something that is cute and functional. You might wonder what I mean by functional when it comes to a holiday outfit. I’ll break it down.Functional in regard to holiday attire means that I can eat in it, have a few cocktails, and not look like I’m sporting a food baby. Peplum tops are amazing for this, and wearing a scarf draws the eye upward. Just a little heads up this peplum top is on sale, and my coat is under $40!! I’m a big fan of good deals. This is one of my favorite looks for the holiday party season. Pencil skirts are one of my favorite types of skirts!! It may have something to do with the fact that I’m petite, and I really like the way the proportions of a pencil skirt look. It might also have to do with the fact that it makes me think of old hollywood!! So I’m pretty much a sucker for it. This one is a little on the dressier side so I played it down  with one of my favorite plaid button downs, and this blush colored infinity scarf. Stocking stuffers are so fun to shop for. They’re small, colorful, and ohh so pretty!! Plus almost anything miniature sized is so cute!! I’ve picked a few of my favorites that will go perfectly in anyones holiday stocking. I can’t wait to hang our stockings. I’m a little behind on hanging them, but the good news is we have stockings!! We bought our first Christmas tree, and it’s so nice to just sit with a cup of coffee and stare at the lights.
