Woo hoo!!)

I’m so excited to share this cute black and white gingham peplum top with ya’ll. It is seriously one of my favorite tops. It checks all the cute box details for tops that I love. It has the cutest gingham pattern, the prettiest peplum, and the prettiest bow detail. The bow detail is probably one of my favorite parts of this top because I’m a sucker for anything with bows. This top is super light weight, runs true to size, and is under $18. Living in the south makes it really nice that it’s light weight. It gets really hot here.

I’ve been trying some new lipstick over the last few months. Some of the lipsticks are highend while others are drugstore products that I’ve been testing out. While I was trying these out I came a cross Lipsense thanks to my friend Tara. I was a little skeptical at first because I’ve tried other lipsticks that promised similar things. Well I’m here to tell you this Lipsense is the real deal. I have worn it for the last few months, and it really works. I can put it on in the morning, run errands, and literally only have to reapply the moisture gloss. There’s no crazy cracking and drying when you wear it either. This was a big deal because other long wear lipsticks left my lips in worse condition than when I started. Okay ya’ll I have a quick question for ya’ll. Would y’all want a blog post all about the different high end, mid level, and drugstore lipsticks I’ve been trying?

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope ya’ll have a fabulous weekend!!

XO, Angela

Happy Monday y’all!! I hope everyone had a good weekend. We were busy with friends in town, and watching my little guy play with his new friend. We had some touch and go moments where he thought he needed to hold all his toys, but for the most part he did really good.

Last weekend was a busy weekend, but when we finally had a break I wanted to try this VII Code 02M Oxygen Eye Mask For All Night Repair. I have really been wanting to try something that would give my eyes back some love because the late nights with my babies are starting to creep up on me. There is only so much coffee can treat, and one of those things it doesn’t help is my skin. When I had the opportunity to try this mask I jumped I was so excited.

So, let’s get started, grab a coffee, and let’s chat about this mask. I love the packaging, and that six masks come in a box. Each mask is individually wrapped. I loved this because they wont dry out this way, and there is no confusion over which eye mask has been opened. This is something I am notorious for so this made life so much easier. I had never used a sheet mask so this was all new to me. I probably should have applied this away from my son, but he wanted to help. So, when we applied one just a little wrong I thought well it’s still covering the under eye area so I’m good. So,I rolled with it, gave him a high five, and did the other side. The mask has a cooling sensation as soon as it’s on your skin. I really liked that a lot. I had read some people had felt a stinging/tingly effect when put it on. This made me a little nervous because I’ve bought expensive eye creams before that went right in the trash because they burned my undereyes. Ya’ll I am not even kidding like burned in the literal sense. Like my under eyes were red and sore. Well I can report this eye mask did not do that. Hooray!! Another thing I liked was that the mask could be moved without taking the adhesive off, and that it can be worn for a full 8 hours. I have worn these for the last few weeks, and I can tell a big difference. They feel more hydrated, and makeup doesn’t get stuck in the fine lines like it did before. Another solution to eliminating dark under eyes and that tired, baggy look is to consider non-surgical treatment in the form of a dermal filler in the tear trough.

So let’s recap what I think about the VII Code 02M Oxygen Eye Mask For All Night Repair

I love the packaging.

It has a cooling effect.

It can be worn for 8 hours.

It can be moved if you didn’t get the application just right.

It’s easy to remove.

It hydrates underneath the eyelids so it reduces fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

It moisturizes and soothes the under eye area.

Use it 2 to 3 times a week. A full treatment is 3 boxes.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope yall had a great weekend!! If you have any extra questions please let me know. I’m happy to answer any, and all questions!!

XO, Angela

NSALE: Beauty

July 22, 2016

NSALE Beauty Must Haves

Good morning!! Woo hoo it’s Friday!! I’m so excited the weekend is finally here!! Ohh and a big yay that the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is officially open to everyone!! Let the shopping begin, and the funny expressions our husbands give us start. Mine might be the only one that thinks I’m a little crazy, but this is like Christmas in July!! So I planned on doing a NSale fit guide on everything I’ve bought as far as sizing, fit, and if it was really worth it. Unfortunately, none  of my Nordies goodies have made it to me just yet. I’m seriously stalking the UPS man!! (Just kidding kind of.) I’m hopeful they will be here later today, or tomorrow. I can’t wait to try everything on to get an idea of sizing etc. So since shipping is taking a little longer than I had anticipated I wanted to share some of the Nordstrom Anniversary beauty buys that I’m excited to try, and a few that are long time favorites. I’m going to list them all below with a little about the why I’m so excited to try them, and why they are must haves!!

1.Beauty Blender Set ($35)

This is one of my favorite new additions to my makeup routine. I use it for my under eye area, blending in liquid foundation around my nose, and any other area that is super porous. (Aka large pores!!) Ohh and it’s also great for baking your under eye area, chin, nose, and pretty much any where that you might get oily through out the day.

2.Foreo Cleansing Device ($74)

In all fairness, I’ve never tried this, but I’ve heard great things about it. Plus it’s super small and compact. Perfect for people who travel a lot, or don’t have lots of counter space.

3.Living Proof Set  ($45)

This is another product that I’ve ordered, but haven’t actually tried. One of my favorite beauty bloggers Cara from Maskcara did a whole review on this a few months ago, and she had nothing but rave reviews about it. So this is the perfect time to try this product. Plus if it’s good enough for Jennifer Aniston’s hair it’s definitely good enough for little ole me.

4.PMD Personal Microderm Device ($133)

This is something I’ve wanted to try forever, but it was pretty pricey. Thankfully it’s on sale, and you save almost $60!! Which is amazing!!

5.MAC Look In A Box ($40)

This MAC Kit is such a steal, and the colors are gorgeous. MAC products are really pigmented which is really nice. It means that you don’t have to use lots of product because a little goes a long way!!

6.Clarisonic Mia Fit ($153)

I have a regular Clarisonic, and I love it. It’s changed my skincare routine for the better. My skin looks and feels better. Clarisonic’s don’t usually go on sale. Pick this up because it will change your skincare routine!! I promise!!

7.NARS Survival Kit I ($59)

NARS makes some really amazing palettes, and this one doesn’t disappoint. This is perfect for someone who travels, or needs something that is really compact. This is a great deal because one NARS blush usually costs $30, and you’re getting a whole kit.

8.NARS Cheek Palette  ($65)

Love this palette!! It has six colors in it, and one of them is my favorite color, Orgasm!! It’s one of the prettiest blushes. It looks great on almost every skin tone.

9.Neu Lash Brow ($100)

Okay I’ve heard amazing things about this product, but I have to wait to try it because I’m pregnant. I’ve heard mixed reviews if it’s safe to use while pregnant and breast feeding. So this is one I can’t wait to try at some point. So for all the people with sparse eye brows this is your new bff from what I’ve heard.

10.Bobbi Brown Pink Lip Set ($50)

Bobbi Brown makes the most amazing lip pencils, lipsticks, and glosses. Seriously the lip pencils are creamy, and go on like butter. And the lipsticks have really great staying power. Basically I love the Bobbi Brown Lip Set!!

11.Anastasia Brow Set ($36)

Anastasia products are pretty much amazing in my book. I’ve tried the Anastasia Beauty Express Kit, and loved it. So I’m pretty excited to try this!! I’m actually going to stop by Nordstrom to get a little tutoring on how to use this new set. I love learning from the best!!

12.Neu Lash Serum ($150)

This is a beauty product I can’t wait to try. I’ve heard amazing things from other bloggers whose eye lashes are seriously gorgeous, and so enviable. At this point, I can’t try it since I’m pregnant, but sometime after November I am going to try this out!! I’ve heard mixed reviews if it’s safe to use while pregnant so I’m going to wait!! Long lashes can wait.

Thank you all so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a great weekend!!

XO, Angela
