Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season. I enjoyed lots of time with my hubby, and our family. My daughter, Sofia, is 6 weeks old, and she is starting to show her personality a little bit more. Which my hubby and I love!! This was Manny Jr.’s second Christmas, and he was really excited to open boxes, and push them around the house. It’s so true what people says about toddlers and gifts. Give them an empty box, and they really will be in heaven for days with it.

The past week the temps have been the chilliest I have felt in Houston in a long time. I had planned on taking Sofia on a walk the day we took these photos, but with the chilly temps we decided to stay close to home. We did get outside for a little fresh air, and so my son could play outside. He loves exploring the outdoors. I brought Sofie out in her carseat, and Ellie Ears. These are an amazing new baby product from Modern Barn that every new baby needs. I ran across them while looking at Jillian Harris’s Instagram. Yep I love me some celebrity new mommas!! So I got really lucky when I found the Ellie Ears because I had literally been looking every where for something that would keep the new babies head centered and supported. With my son I tried using the newborn insert I had bought for my carseat, but that only worked for about 2 weeks because a week later the lower half of my sons body was too big for the newborn insert. The problem was his head still needed something to help support, and keep him centered in his carseat. So when I found these in month seven of my pregnancy I emailed the Ellie Ears company to make sure these were the right fit for what I needed. Thankfully they checked all the boxes for keeping the new babes head centered and supported. The next best thing is they come in couple different patterns, and they even have matching blankets you can order. Modern Barn By Acres Of Memories is generously giving my readers 15% off with Coupon Code PRETTY15!! This Code will run till January 2017!! As a new mom for the second time around, I would love to know what your must have baby product were.

Since I haven’t completely lost all the baby weight I have been living in these stretchy comfy dresses, and of course some of my favorite loungewear. Not being back to my post baby size has been an adjustment. I promised myself I’m not going to be hard on myself. I try to remind myself Angela it took 9 months to put this baby weight on, and it’s going to take sometime to lose it the healthy way. So I’m staying positive, loving the new me, and what my body has made. It’s pretty crazy to think a little over 6 weeks ago she was hanging out in my tummy, and now she is here. Now back to the outfit. I promise I won’t be so long winded on every blog post. I thought since we were going to be outside I might as well dress up a little bit. Plus I’m guessing my neighbors have seen me enough in my pajamas getting the mail. This is a non maternity dress that I wore while I was pregnant. I have to say it is really comfortable on. I added this long BP cardigan that I’ve basically been living in, and this necklace that I made myself. I did a tutorial all about how to make it here. It’s one of my favorite necklaces because it brings back memories of being a kid at camp doing arts and crafts. That was seriously one of my favorite parts of camp. You can never be too careful with your little one, my friend recently had an accident on the sidewalk because of construction works and was so glad she had slip and fall lawyer in florida at hand! Their legal knowledge is second to none!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a fabulous Monday!! Don’t forget to take advantage of the 15% coupon code for your Ellie Ears!!

XO, Angela

How To Restyle Your Boyfriends (Or Husbands) Undershirt…

February 8, 2016

Can we talk about how seriously cute the oversized boyfriend shirt trend is? (Or, in my case the oversized husband shirt trend!!) Seeing all these tops made me want a few of my own, but then I remembered a few of the trends I’ve tried in the past that didn’t quite work out in my favor. So, with that in mind I started to brainstorm how to test drive this trend without committing too much. Just in case I looked more like I was wearing a night shirt than being uber fashionable!! ( Which was totally possible. Hello, I’m 5′ nothing!!)

How I came up with the way to try this is going to sound super glamorous. Wait for it…I was folding laundry when I noticed my husbands white undershirt looked similar to a few white boyfriend shirts I had my eye on. Don’t worry, I’ll buy him a new one as a gift. Many people wonder how to buy gifts For your boyfriend or husband, but there are many choices out there. Anyway, he won’t miss this shirt. That’s when the idea clicked, and the using his shirt to try this out happened. I tried it, looked in the mirror a dozen times to check all the angles, and then thought this could work. My husband had no idea it was his undershirt!! So I’m going with hit!! Of course there are guidelines I would suggest, and I’ll list them below. If you have any questions, I’m always happy to answer them!!

Hope y’all are having a great start to your Monday!!

XO, Angela

Boyfriend Shirt Guidelines With Your Guys Undershirt

1.Make sure your guys undershirt is only one size bigger than your shirt size. If it’s any bigger pick up a package of under shirts at Target.

2.Make sure they are fairly new white undershirts. The name says it all, and you don’t want to wear a sweat stained shirt.

3. Try this trend with lots of different styles, and fits of denim and skirts.

4.If you feel good in it rock it!!

Winter is officially here, and it feels like anything but winter in Houston. These light weight J.Crew sweaters are my absolute favorite to wear. It’s warm one moment, and cool the next so I really like layering with them. This outfit is also perfect for fall football game days because it has a dressy yet laid back feel. This outfit is definitely one I’m filing away for football games. You can never have too many options, am I right? Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hope y’all are have a fabulous weekend!!
