It’s officially September, and not just because I’ve already had my first PSL of the season. It may not feel like it temp wise, but I’ve got you covered with a cute outfit to transition into September without getting crazy looks from people. I get stares here, and there especially when it’s 90 plus degrees, and I’m taking photos of fall looks. You’ll see one I did on Friday. It was pretty funny some of the funny looks I got.

So, back on topic to this cute little number. Say hello to a clutch that is really similar in style to one of my favorite Clare Vivier clutches. Since I don’t carry small handbags a lot anymore this one is a lot easier to justify price wise. Another thing I’m loving are accessories with a positive message. This one is one of my favorites because I think being kind gets over looked a lot. So, I love that this is a little reminder to everyone that sees it.

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend, with lots of celebrating, and relaxing of course. Also, a big thank you to all that worked on Labor Day!! On a different topic, I’m in search of a cute baby shower dress. If any of y’all have suggestions please share. I’ve looked, and nothings really caught my eye.

Let’s just say this outfit is me thinking positive because if I dress like it’s September maybe it will feel like fall is just a few weeks away. I know it’s wishful thinking, but hey a girl can try. Plus at least I know all things fall related are coming soon. Woo hoo!! I love my holiday Starbucks drinks!! This dress has been a major repeat the last few weeks when I have something todo outside of the house. I’d been staring at this cardigan since it came in from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and had to take it out even if it was just for a grocery store run. When I ordered this sweater, I felt a little like Goldie Locks trying her porridge. It runs really big so it’s safe to say I ordered everything from a small all the way to an xx-small. The xx-small was the winner!! Thankfully because it doesn’t go any smaller. This cardigan is such a great fall transition piece because it really takes almost anything from your summer wardrobe into the fall.

In other news, I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend celebrating Labor Day!! I’m so excited to have Manny home on a Monday with us. I’m thinking the park, or maybe a playground or two might be in our future depending on the weather. All in all I think it’s going to be a nice weekend!! Hope y’all have a safe and fun holiday weekend!!

This dress has been on repeat almost as much as my pajamas have been lately. I’m only slightly kidding. When I’m not out, and about with little man I have been in pajamas a lot lately. It might have something to do with a lot of my clothes just not fitting at the moment. I’ve been trying to find a pair that will work for pregnancy and post pregnancy. I have been doing a lot of online window shopping trying to find just the right pair of nursing pajamas. I made the mistake with my last pregnancy of not investing in a pair, and if I could tell my past tense self just buy them you will be happy I totally would. So I’m trying to find just the right pair. If y’all have suggestions, I would love to know.

Dresses like this are great because they are one of those great basics that you can build on. So add a statement necklace for a dressier occasion, or a cute sandal for a day to day look. I’m a fan of this type of dress with a sandal that has a little sparkle. That way it’s laid back, but feels a little feminine.
