I thought about not sharing this outfit because I wasn’t really happy with how I looked in this dress. I swear I looked in the mirror before I left the house, but it was one of those moments where the aha moment happened after I’d already left the house. I decided I can’t be the only person that’s has these moments where they don’t feel amazing in their own skin. Rather than file this outfit under Angela what in the sam heck were you thinking, I decided to be vulnerable, own how I look, and put myself out there because we’re all friends,right? So, here it goes as much as I liked myself in this dress a few weeks ago here, I don’t like what I’m seeing now. Maybe it has to do with all the changes from having a baby 6 months ago, or maybe it’s just eating one too many of my sons chicken nuggets when he’s decided he’s finished. In all honestly, it probably has something to do with a little of both of those things. So, with that in mind it’s time to change things up. Since my usual plan prekiddos won’t work it’s all about adjusting to the new normal. I’ll share more about that later. I’m going to start by doing a cleanse to reset my body before I begin changing up my lifestyle. I’ll share this on the blog. If ya’ll have any questions about cleanses please send them my way. I have to take a moment to point out my cute Sofi. She is so cute in her red and denim dress. It’s on sale, and perfect for the holiday weekend. This little girl has been so fun. She has attitude for days, and the most precious smile. I’m loving dressing her, and my son. Especially dressing her in these cute gold MJ Freshly Picked Mocs that seriously go with everything.

This weekend is basically almost here, and I am so excited to start the holiday weekend with my family. I plan on indulging a little during this long weekend. I don’t plan on going crazy or anything, but I’m looking forward to some really good food off the grill.

One Shoulder Summer Outfit

Summers here!! I’m really excited for warmer temps, and cute one shoulder tops. This one in particular caught my eye because of the ruffle, and blue and white stripes. Fyi this top is $35 ,and such a great deal!! I’m a sucker for blue and white almost anything. You can probably tell from this outfit.

When it’s summer time, I like to add bright colors into the mix with my accessories. Something about it makes me so happy. Since the top makes a statement on it own with this dramatic ruffle, I added a white statement earring, and colorful bracelets. I went with a more laid back set of colorful bracelets because the earrings are really doing the talking, right? This is the perfect outfit for a laid back date night.

Red, White, and Blue Independence Day Outfit

Good morning!! I hope everyone had a really good weekend. We started ours early because my in laws were in town. It was so fun to see how excited Pookie was to see his Grandma and Grandpa. We went on walks with them around the neighborhood, spent lots of time at the pool, and of course a few dozen trips to Chick-fil-a for my son. Manny and I even got an impromptu date night after we put the babies to bed. We had the yummiest seafood tower at Truluck’s. It was really delicious, and nice to have a little time for us to be Mangela (Yep, our friends gave us a nickname when we were dating!! Haha!!).

Alright, let’s talk about the next holiday that is basically less than a week away. So, I’ve got the perfect Fourth Of July dress for ya’ll. If you order it today it should be there before the holiday. This blue and white dress is perfect for anyone that lives somewhere hot or humid because it is super breathable, and open at the top. Don’t you love the crisscross off the shoulder style? It’s a total show stopper in my opinion. Since there aren’t many sizes left of this dress I wore here a few weeks back; I’ll link a few other options too below.

I’m all about celebrating Indepence Day in this dress. It wouldn’t be complete without a pop of red to complete the red, white, and blue theme. So, these gorgeus earrings take it up another notch. I borrowed these earrings from my friend Brittany from Hello Honey Blog. They are so pretty, and the perfect earring that can be worn again with lots of outfits that need a pop of color.
