Finding just the right outfit for holiday get togethers can be hard. Normally I look for something that is cute and functional. You might wonder what I mean by functional when it comes to a holiday outfit. I’ll break it down.Functional in regard to holiday attire means that I can eat in it, have a few cocktails, and not look like I’m sporting a food baby. Peplum tops are amazing for this, and wearing a scarf draws the eye upward. Just a little heads up this peplum top is on sale, and my coat is under $40!! I’m a big fan of good deals. This is one of my favorite looks for the holiday party season. Pencil skirts are one of my favorite types of skirts!! It may have something to do with the fact that I’m petite, and I really like the way the proportions of a pencil skirt look. It might also have to do with the fact that it makes me think of old hollywood!! So I’m pretty much a sucker for it. This one is a little on the dressier side so I played it down  with one of my favorite plaid button downs, and this blush colored infinity scarf. Plaid tops are hands down one of my favorite patterns to wear pretty much all year, but especially in the fall and winter!! Something about them just makes me happy. This one is made by one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom B.P. They make some of the cutest scarfs, hats, tops, and jewelry all at such an amazing price point without the sacrificing the quality of the fabric. Since my day was full of errands skinny jeans, and booties were the perfect addition to this top. By the way these booties are super comfy, and come in black as well!! I couldn’t resist sharing this cute moment with little Manny jr. He is 9 months (Holy moly time is going by quickly!!!), and such a lover of the camera, iPhone, and iPad. If it’s a device with buttons he’s all over it!!! Wish me luck on beginning to decorate our house with little man, and two small fur babies!! Any tips/suggestions are so appreciated!!
