How to Wear A Crop Top To Work…

Happy Friday!! I’m so excited the weekend is almost here!! I’m attending a brunch at Nordstrom this weekend where a portion of the proceeds are being donated to Baby2Baby, an amazing organization that supports low-income children ranging from 0-12 to help ensure they have the basic essentials every child needs. You can follow along with me on Saturday via Instagram. I’m still trying to master Snapchat, but I am no where close to getting it yet.

Okay on to this outfit…This is hands down one of my favorite outfits, I’ve ever put together. I love that I can use this cute crop top for something other than being a crop top. I wore it a few weeks earlier here, and it is literally one of my favorites. Since this top isn’t available anymore I’ve linked a few similar ones below. Ohh and I love the pop this grey Urban Expressions bag gives this outfit, not to mention I love every chance I have a chance to wear high heels. These are super cute, and feel summer worthy since they are open toed. So if you are in need of a good excuse to buy that cute crop top that you’ve been on the fence about look no further than this outfit. Layering your crop top gives you flexibility. Twirl Worthy Bright Top

Tops that I can twirl in are always one of my favorites!! Especially this one thats most definitely twirl worthy, and very colorful. I borrowed this top from one of my girlfriends, and let me tell you a little secret. This cute top was a dress first, and altered into a cute top. Which I am loving because it’s twirl worthy, and perfect for date night in the spring. I dressed it up with dark denim, but it’d be really cute dressed down with boyfriend jeans. I wore this bright soft blue Jessie Perf bag by Urban Expressions. It’s the perfect size for all my must have items I like to have. I love that I can also fit my dslr camera in here if I’m going to a blogger lunch meet up. This bag is vegan, and approved by Peta which a pretty cool. So no animals were harmed, or harmful materials have been used on it. Something I love especially since my one year old is very interested in mommas hand bags.

Last week I got to work with Chelby from Cheeky Carmen Photography an up, and coming photographer in The Woodlands/Houston area. She was so much fun to work with, and was really creative about finding lots of fun really pretty spots to shoot. She was the sweetest, and so understanding to my major mommy brain moment. Forgetting my lipstick!! Oh lord, and well this is me without lipstick!

I bought this top while on vacation last year, and it’s one of my favorites. I love the detail on the back of the top, and pop of pink and white in it! So this top is perfect for me. Since it’s not available anymore I’ll link a few that are similar below. If you need it to have a more work appropriate angle add a pencil skirt and heels. Ohh and did I mention I love this Girl Boss bracelet!! It was gifted to me at the Thrive Blog Conference last weekend, and I love it!! It gives me a little boost when I’m feeling like a super exhausted momma. Especially on those days my top knot looks less than Pinterest or Instagram worthy, and more like a drenched mouse.
