Over the weekend this was the perfect outfit to start off with on a chilly morning. As fall is getting closer layers are seriously what gets me through this weather transition. I was lucky enough to borrow this gorgeous fur vest from my favorite Houston Stylist Lisa from Style Pointlmp. Check her blog out when you have a chance. You won’t be sorry.  She has fabulous style and is passionate about helping women find their style that suits their personality and their body type.

All right lets have a little chat about something new in my unmentionables drawer that I am officially loving!!! That something is the Aerie Sunnie Push Up Bra. This is my new favorite because after breast feeding my girls needed some love, (that’s just real life).  Ohh, and did I mention they have the softest tees to go over the Sunnie Push up? They are so lightweight and effortless, it’s the perfect go to for this busy mom.  These tees come in four other colors. I can’t wait to pick up black and heather grey.  Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!!

I promise, I ironed this top prior to wearing it. I think somewhere between riding in the car, and sitting my shirt must have wrinkled all over again. I wore it for the Southwest Blogger Luncheon in the River Oaks area of Houston. It was so much fun to catch up with familiar faces; as well as to meet new faces. I wear a small in this top, and I think it runs pretty true to size. I know sometimes Sheinside pieces can run a little small, but luckily that wasn’t the problem with this top. I love the bright pink color, and that it fits pretty true to size. It’s one of my new favorites. Since the luncheon was on a Saturday my husband, and I decided to make a day if it with little Manny.  It was so nice explore Houston a little more. I  only really  drove around the River Oaks area when we first moved here 3 years ago. Since we live in The Woodlands which is about 45 minutes away, and traffic here is not fun; I hadn’t been back in a long time. Plaids are easily one of my favorite patterns to wear!! I don’t wear them as much during the spring/summer months, but when I find a cute plaid top in all the right bright colors, I jump at it. Ohh and did I mention it’s under $15!!! By the way it’s at such a good price I would definitely pick it up before it sells out.

On a different note, I broke down and bought a new pair of jeans. It took me almost 4 months to realize it’s going to take sometime to fit back into my regular skinny jeans. I had to remind myself that if it takes a little while to that’s okay. It wasn’t an easy conclusion to come to, but I’m glad I did because little man won’t be tiny tiny for forever so I’m really enjoying him cooing, smiling, and making the most hilarious bodily fuction noises (Hope I’m not over sharing). It’s just not worth beating myself up over something that won’t last forever. Especially since, I plan on having a running date with Tracey Anderson thanks to my blu-ray player!!
