Shifting in to the fall season with the cutest blue shift dress. I absolutely love this dress, and the price point is really sweet too. It’s $49 and very versatile. I am already imagining it with knee high boots, a skinny belt, and a camel colored coat. For now this is perfect for the warm fall weather we’re having in Houston.

Hope y’all had a nice weekend!! We spent the weekend getting our house ready for a new Pottery Barn dining room table. Long story short, the dining room table came, and went back. It was damaged (insert sad face, and a super disappointed tone of voice). I’m hoping they can get another one to us hopefully before Thanksgiving. Keeping my fingers crossed. The holidays are closer than we think. Can you believe Thanksgiving is 42 days away? With the holidays  closer than we think I thought it was the perfect time to share some of my favorite pajamas that have me wanting to have a little staycation. With that being said I love coffee mugs, and coffee mugs that go with the theme of my pjs are even better. That doesn’t mean I won’t do a little Starbucks drive thru run to add the perfect Starbucks drink to my coffee cup. I love the Starbucks drive thru!! Especially as a mom that doesn’t want to always get the stroller, diaper bag, etc out of the car. This is perfect. Okay back on topic. With the holidays in mind I wanted to share some of my favorite pajamas, mugs, and slippers that look just perfect for a chilly day during the holiday season. Thanks so much for stopping by!!! It’s hot at the moment in Texas which isn’t a huge shocker!! Since it usually doesn’t feel quite like fall at the beginning I like to think  Texas has an extra season called the ‘Indian Summer’ since it doesn’t normally feel quite like fall, or summer when fall is officially here. I figure since ‘Indian Summer’ literally means an unseasonably warm day in the fall this fits my home state perfectly. Over the weekend, I wore this dress, and it is seriously one of my favorites!! It has bright colors, and pockets. Two of my favorites checked off my list.  It’s price point is great too!! It’s under $23 and fits great (I’m wearing a medium). These pictures are from my Charlotte trip. They took a little longer to get back because my friend who shot them had hard drive issues afterward. From what I hear this is not fun stuff to deal with.  Thankfully they were recovered.  I really wanted blog pictures in my hometown. We decided on Freedom Park because it’s gorgeous,and I have great memories of being there with my family when I was a young.

In other news, I survived my second solo flight with Manny jr aka Baby M. I always get a little nervous when I fly with him on my own. We did great!!  Technically it’s his third round trip flight. Thank goodness for kind people and nice flight attendants. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you all are having a great start to your week!!
