Black & White Gingham Top With The Perfect Bow Detail

I’m so excited to share this cute black and white gingham peplum top with ya’ll. It is seriously one of my favorite tops. It checks all the cute box details for tops that I love. It has the cutest gingham pattern, the prettiest peplum, and the prettiest bow detail. The bow detail is probably one of my favorite parts of this top because I’m a sucker for anything with bows. This top is super light weight, runs true to size, and is under $18. Living in the south makes it really nice that it’s light weight. It gets really hot here.

I’ve been trying some new lipstick over the last few months. Some of the lipsticks are highend while others are drugstore products that I’ve been testing out. While I was trying these out I came a cross Lipsense thanks to my friend Tara. I was a little skeptical at first because I’ve tried other lipsticks that promised similar things. Well I’m here to tell you this Lipsense is the real deal. I have worn it for the last few months, and it really works. I can put it on in the morning, run errands, and literally only have to reapply the moisture gloss. There’s no crazy cracking and drying when you wear it either. This was a big deal because other long wear lipsticks left my lips in worse condition than when I started. Okay ya’ll I have a quick question for ya’ll. Would y’all want a blog post all about the different high end, mid level, and drugstore lipsticks I’ve been trying?

Floral Embroidered Tops For Spring

Embroidered tops and dresses have been really getting my attention lately. Maybe it’s me being nostalgic, but the pretty floral tops and dresses are taking me back to a simpilier time. I was on the fence for a little bit about this trend because I like to be thoughtful with my purchases. Let me tell you I’m ready to add lots of cute embroidered tops to my closet. Since this is a popular trend at the moment I thought I would share some of my favorite budget friendly finds from the Romwe website. Ya’ll saw me in this cute tribal print embroidered top here, and this cute off the shoulder top here. This is basically my favorite place to pick up cute trendy pieces. Sometimes I test out a trend with Romwe, and if I really love the trend I might invest in a bigger ticket item from Chicwish, or Nordstrom.

This black and white wrap top is about to be on repeat a ton this year. It’s the perfect neutral colors, and it has the best kind of stripes on it. Vertical of course!! I was super impressed with the quality of the top, and that it felt like it ran pretty true to size. The price point didn’t hurt either. It’s under $25 and perfect for all the seasons. I’ll probably add dark denim in the fall to give it more of a fall/winter feel. Oh and did I mention I love the ruffle? As a petite gal I’m loving that the size of the ruffle isn’t too much for my petite frame. It’s like the perfect way to hide when I’m super full from a meal. Long story short treat yourself and get this top!!

So, this YSL Eclaté Touche Radiance Pen is the bomb dot com. This pen was complimentary, and has become a fast favorite. I’m already planning on restocking it in my makeup bag. I love that it actually highlights without being glittery. It’s like Courtney Kerr says glitter is for little girls. If you aren’t following her please follow her. I promise you’ll love her cute personality. It can be used on so many places on your face. I like that it isnt limited to just your nose, cheek bones, etc. Plus I love the packaging. YSL knows how to make their packaging adorable, and easy to travel with. It’s a little pricey at $42, but it’s worth every penny. I was thinking about doing a video on how to use it, but since I don’t have the foggiest clue about video that’s going to have to wait. It is somethng I hope I can get into sometime in the next year. With that in mind let me know if you’d like me to do an Instastory about it. If you do I’ll give you a heads up of when I plan on doing it.
