I hope everyone had a really good weekend. Sorry, I had to take a break from blogging last week. I had a family emergency, and between packing for my two kiddos I couldn’t figure out how to get all their stuff on the plane, plus extra outfits, and my camera.

I love cold shoulder tops, and off the shoulder tops so much. They are probably my favorite trend in tops to come around in a while. I love that they accentuate the shoulders in such a pretty way. This super cute cold shoulder shirred top has the cutest embroidery detail, and is in my favorite color pink which never hurts, right? I changed it up, and wore these flared leg Seven jeans. I had these taken in at the waist, and think I should have just bought a whole new pair because they fit in the waist, but they look a little frumpy at the top of my legs. I’m wondering if I can have that altered too. Do ya’ll know if that’s a possibility?

With fall just a few months away, I wanted to show ya’ll one of my favorite ways I layer necklaces. Since it’s pretty hot here I like wearing one of my favorite gold monogram necklaces with one of my chunkier Stella and Dot necklaces. This Stella Necklace is one I’ve had for a while, and have worn pretty regularly.

Last week, I bought this some new drugstore makeup, and used a few of the new products for my makeup today. I have to say so far I’m loving the new makeup. I shared some of the products last week, and swatched my favorite drugstore lippies I really love on Instastories last week, but if ya’ll would like a detailed drugstore makeup post on what has made my favorites list let me know. Can you send any questions you have as well?

Last week I got to work with Chelby from Cheeky Carmen Photography an up, and coming photographer in The Woodlands/Houston area. She was so much fun to work with, and was really creative about finding lots of fun really pretty spots to shoot. She was the sweetest, and so understanding to my major mommy brain moment. Forgetting my lipstick!! Oh lord, and well this is me without lipstick!

I bought this top while on vacation last year, and it’s one of my favorites. I love the detail on the back of the top, and pop of pink and white in it! So this top is perfect for me. Since it’s not available anymore I’ll link a few that are similar below. If you need it to have a more work appropriate angle add a pencil skirt and heels. Ohh and did I mention I love this Girl Boss bracelet!! It was gifted to me at the Thrive Blog Conference last weekend, and I love it!! It gives me a little boost when I’m feeling like a super exhausted momma. Especially on those days my top knot looks less than Pinterest or Instagram worthy, and more like a drenched mouse. Thank you all so much for following along with me on this amazing roller coaster!! I really appreciate all your feedback!! Have a great weekend!!!

XO, Angela

It’s been unseasonably warm even for Houston lately. So light layers have been my best friend!! This is one of my favorite sweaters from last season. I love the slightly feminine puffed sleeve, and that one of the actresses on Girls wore it. Love that show. Okay back on topic. These Vince Camuto booties have been a huge staple in my wardrobe. I wear them with so many different outfits. I’m thinking about getting them in black as well because they are just such an amazing bootie that’s also comfortable. Hello holy grail of booties!!

I wore this to a blogger breakfast at the cutest little French bakery with the tastiest lattes. Their vanilla one was to die for!! I’m so thankful for the friendships with these other amazing bloggers. Moving to a new place just after getting married wasn’t easy, but having these friendships makes it a little easier. If you’re a blogger that lives in The Woodlands, Spring, or North Houston area we would love you to join this group!! You can reach out to me via my email ([email protected]).  I also, wanted to give a very big thank you to Brittany from Hello Honey Blog for taking these pictures!! Go check out her blog!! She has great style, and the cutest little boy!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!

XO, Angela
