Light Blue Dress + Blush Sunnies

Happy Monday!! I thought with the weather being crazy warm it was the perfect time to take a break from the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and share this summer time look. This dress is my new saving grace with all the rising temps. I love the color, and it’s not crazy thick so it breaths really well. Ohh and it’s long enough without being too long for all the short gals out there like me. That is definitely an on going problem when looking for dresses. Between my growing bump, boobs, and bum I need dresses that cover without looking like the dress is wearing me. (Sorry this might have been a little too honest!! Oops, but it’s real life.) This isn’t a maternity dress so please pick this cute little number up. Ohh, and if you’re pregnant my suggestion is just size up one size to have room for your bump.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!! We had lots of plans to do fun activities with Manny Jr., but the teething has been kicking all of our bums. I think he has molars possibly coming in because the last 3 nights have been so bad. Poor little man can barely eat anything he usually eats because of the impending teeth coming in. I still can’t believe my 17 month old has at least 10 teeth. Holy moly where is the time going. I remember when he was just days old. Feels like just yesterday. I remember my mom saying to soak in every moment, and now I see why. Because it really does go by quickly. Okay I won’t talk your ear off anymore about teething.

In other news, little man did get new shoes. His little foot grew, and the ladies at Stride Rite in The Woodlands Mall took such good care of us. Seriously the ladies that work there are the most patient. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a fabulous start to your week!!

How to Wear A Crop Top To Work…

Happy Friday!! I’m so excited the weekend is almost here!! I’m attending a brunch at Nordstrom this weekend where a portion of the proceeds are being donated to Baby2Baby, an amazing organization that supports low-income children ranging from 0-12 to help ensure they have the basic essentials every child needs. You can follow along with me on Saturday via Instagram. I’m still trying to master Snapchat, but I am no where close to getting it yet.

Okay on to this outfit…This is hands down one of my favorite outfits, I’ve ever put together. I love that I can use this cute crop top for something other than being a crop top. I wore it a few weeks earlier here, and it is literally one of my favorites. Since this top isn’t available anymore I’ve linked a few similar ones below. Ohh and I love the pop this grey Urban Expressions bag gives this outfit, not to mention I love every chance I have a chance to wear high heels. These are super cute, and feel summer worthy since they are open toed. So if you are in need of a good excuse to buy that cute crop top that you’ve been on the fence about look no further than this outfit. Layering your crop top gives you flexibility. Spring doesn’t mean that bootie season is over it just means instead of wearing dark booties switch change up your bootie game. Just switch to lighter toned booties in nude tones for spring and summer. I wore these Jeffrey Campbell booties with the cutest bright pink, and lavender dress from Just Jules. They don’t currently have this dress anymore, but their website has some of the cutest pieces. I’ve also linked a few cute casual dresses below that I can’t wait to add to my collection.
