It’s been unseasonably warm even for Houston lately. So light layers have been my best friend!! This is one of my favorite sweaters from last season. I love the slightly feminine puffed sleeve, and that one of the actresses on Girls wore it. Love that show. Okay back on topic. These Vince Camuto booties have been a huge staple in my wardrobe. I wear them with so many different outfits. I’m thinking about getting them in black as well because they are just such an amazing bootie that’s also comfortable. Hello holy grail of booties!!

I wore this to a blogger breakfast at the cutest little French bakery with the tastiest lattes. Their vanilla one was to die for!! I’m so thankful for the friendships with these other amazing bloggers. Moving to a new place just after getting married wasn’t easy, but having these friendships makes it a little easier. Plaid tops are hands down one of my favorite patterns to wear pretty much all year, but especially in the fall and winter!! Something about them just makes me happy. This one is made by one of my favorite brands at Nordstrom B.P. They make some of the cutest scarfs, hats, tops, and jewelry all at such an amazing price point without the sacrificing the quality of the fabric. Since my day was full of errands skinny jeans, and booties were the perfect addition to this top. By the way these booties are super comfy, and come in black as well!! I couldn’t resist sharing this cute moment with little Manny jr. He is 9 months (Holy moly time is going by quickly!!!), and such a lover of the camera, iPhone, and iPad. If it’s a device with buttons he’s all over it!!! Wish me luck on beginning to decorate our house with little man, and two small fur babies!! Any tips/suggestions are so appreciated!! Over the weekend, there was a blogger event in my neck of the woods,The Woodlands, to be exact, and I had such a good time meeting other blogger fashionista ladies! Getting to catch up with other bloggers always makes me happy. I’m not sure if it’s because I am inspired by the other ladies personalities, cute outfits, or just getting to have the opportunity to connect with other ladies on something I’m super passionate about. Either way none of the reasons are bad so I’m pretty happy with the end result. Meeting really cool fashionistas, and being inspired afterwards.

With the blogger meet up in mind I couldn’t help, but get excited about figuring out what I was going to wear. Since it was in the morning I knew I wanted to wear something that was layered that still had a fun pop of color. This sea foam colored top has been with me for a few years, and I love it!!!
