Good morning! Starting Monday off strong thanks to getting lots done over the weekend all while getting lots of quality time with my family. Pookie and Sofia weren’t feeling very good so we cuddled a lot, played trains, and watched Frozen, Moana, and a little football (UCF played so we had to cheer on our team. They’re undefeated so we show up and support.). Thankfully between all the cuddles and lots of quality time with their humidifiers they are starting to feel better. Now, let’s talk about some of my favorite fashion staples.
Okay, it’s no secret I love a good jean jacket. I think it’s a staple piece that everyone needs. It really adds another level to almost any outfit whether you wear it the traditional way or just drape it over your shoulders. By the way, I love both looks so much.
Another staple everyone needs is a high waisted mini skirt. It just makes your legs look longer and it’s one of those pieces that can be worn as the temps get cooler with tights or black pantyhose and some boots. I love this leather skirt and have my eye on this navy snap front skirt too. It so cute and on sale.
We can’t talk about staple pieces without including a good dark floral top. I love that this one has such a pretty small floral pattern. I’m a fan of tops like this that have smaller floral patterns because they don’t overrun my petite frame. And would look good on someone tall as well.
