Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it’s really all about giving thanks, and breaking bread with friends and family. Since I won’t be going home for the holidays I always try to make the dishes that remind me of my mom. This year is going to be bitter sweet because it’s my sons first Thanksgiving, and my first Thanksgiving without my mom. It’s kind of funny, I’ll think I am doing really great maintaining after losing her, and then there’s an exciting high like Halloween, or Thanksgiving, and all the feelings flood back in. I didn’t plan this post to share these feelings, but I started this blog to share, and inspire other people with the things that inspire me. That’s usually mostly my love of style, but sometimes that can evolve into more. And well that’s a pretty big part of my life, and I wouldn’t feel like I was being real if I didn’t include this as well.
When choosing a Thanksgiving outfit I take into consideration what outfit is going to leave room for seconds, and look cute. These three outfits leave room for one more plate of turkey, and stuffing while still looking put together. Every family has a different holiday dress code so I’ve covered a few of the basics that I’ve run into. What’s your holiday style for Thanksgiving? Thanks so much for stopping by!!
A big thank you to all of the Veteran’s who have served to keep our country free!!
