Happy Labor Day, and I hope y’all are having a great holiday weekend celebrating with your family and friends. We took little man to one of his buddies first birthdays. He was in rare form, and not in the way you hope your kido to be in. Yep, I was that parent with the child that usually has me absolutely cringing, and feeling for that poor momma. Thankfully after a little napping with daddy he was back to his almost back to his sweet little self. The party was really cute, and their theme was  precious. It was The Hungry Caterpillar. One of my favorite books to read Manny Jr. when he’s not trying to bend the pages. Which is evidently a stage we just have to get through. On a side note, he did the cutest thing over the weekend. He was inseparable with his Fisher Price light up tool box. I love this because the colors light up, and it says the colors in english and spanish.

So, this week has been rain, rain, and some more rain which has me hoping it will finally start to feel like fall is around the corner. So far it just means warm temps, and lots of humidity. This is not so great for my hair. If you saw my post on Monday, I swear I did my hair. I mean, I showered blew out my hair, put a little dry shampoo in it, and curled it, and by the time I was outside for point two seconds, and it looked like my head had gone through the car wash. So the struggle is really lately. What do you all use to combat humidity and your hair. Just a side not that I have baby fine hair, and well really heavy products make me look like I just went through the carwash with the windows open too.

So, with wishful thinking I couldn’t resist sharing some of my favorites to get you in the fall spirit that are all under $50. August has just begun, and for me it signifies my birthday month, and the slow introduction back into fall fashion. Fall fashion doesn’t have to mean go out, and put that cardigan on in 90 degree weather. I promise. It just means lets get back to some really cute tops that have more of a fall color scheme rather than all the bright bold summer colors. It’s also a great time to start putting a little love back into your hair after being at the pool all summer. We were there at least 3 days a week, and my hair was in major need of this hair mask. It’s one of my favorites. I switch between that one and this one. Both are great!! I’m so excited bootie season is almost here!! The booties linked are under $85, and there are still lots of sizes.
