Wishing and hoping that if I dress like it’s fall the cool crisp autumn weather will hurry up and get here. This top is so cozy and comfy, and on super promotional sale pricing right now at Mint Julep Boutique. It’s under $25!! I love that it’s in this bold wine color, and roomie for the baby bump. It’s not maternity which is nice because I plan on wearing it with dark skinny jeans, and tucking it half in so it still looks laid back but pulled together.

Mommy Friendly Kitty Cat Costume

First, can you believe Halloween is almost here? It is less than 20 days away. I’m not sure where the time goes, but this is going to be our first halloween taking my son trick or treating. Crossing my fingers he doesn’t get too scared of some of the costumes, and outdoor decorations. With Halloween coming up, I’ve been brainstorming a cute teacher, and mommy friendly costume that’s perfect for trick or treating or the office.

One of the first costumes, I ever dressed up in was a black cat so I thought this kitty sweatshirt was perfect. All I had to do was add cat ears with my signature pearls of course, a cute heel, and festive whiskers with this MAC eyeliner. It’s really easy, but if you want to add a smokey cat eye as well that super easy too. Just add a little dark eye shadow in the crease, and a little sparkly on eyeshadow on your lids.

I hope you all are having a good start to your week. What are y’all dressing up as for Halloween? I’d love some suggestions for my sons Halloween costume. I’ve been wracking my brain, and trying to come up with a good costume for him that doesn’t include hats. He is not a fan of anything on his head.

Friday is here, and I’m so excited the weekend is almost officially here!! I wore this gingham button down top layered with my favorite white tee shirt, and leggings for my 32 week checkup. I really like outfits like this that are easy light layers, but still make me feel like it’s fall even if the temps in Houston are still in the 90’s. I’m dreaming of cooler weather to hurry up, and get here. The 90 degree weather makes me feel a little silly having my hot coco. I’m trying to be good about not having too much decaf coffee throughout the week.

Here’s a little update on how my 32 week checkup went. Thankfully, baby Sofia is doing really good. She weighs a little over 4 pounds, has the most precious profile, and has hair. It was really cool to see her hair in the ultrasound. I was wondering if she would have hair since my son did. She is officially still breach, but my son was the same way right up until his last ultrasound. We have a cesarian birth planned because last time it wasn’t physically possible to have a v-bac delivery. I know at the end of day all that matters is a healthy baby and delivery.
