We had chilly temps when my sister was in town last week. So it was the perfect time to have a little quality girls time. We stopped by Starbucks, and I showed her around where Manny and I use to live before we bought a house. It’s a really cute area with lots of restaurants in walking distance. My favorite is the movie theatre that’s in walking distance. I totally use to pop in just to get movie theatre popcorn for watching movies at home, or The Real Housewives. She thought that was a great idea. Since we were out, and I was in something other than leggings, or pjs I took advantage of her camera skills. It was her first time helping me with blog photos, and I think she did a pretty great job. She teased me a little because I take a lot of photos. I love having options. She lives in North Carolina so I haven’t gotten to have her help till now. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time just the two of us. Since it doesn’t get very cold for long here I’m usually all about layers. This top did not disappoint. I was really excited to finally wear it since I bought it when I was  7 months pregnant. I couldn’t have been happier with the fit of it. I went with an extra small because sometimes the BP line at Nordstrom runs a little big.

The last couple of weeks have been busy package days with lots of adorable pink gifts for Sofia. I was really excited when my favorite monthly pink box from Pop Sugar Must Have Box arrived. I’m always excited to see what makes the cut each month. Last month, they included the most precious Kendra Scott bracelet, and this time they didn’t disappoint either. It had the perfect silver and white Bauble Bar necklace. I had been looking for a longer necklace to wear with this peplum top, and I love it. They also included the perfect jewelry holder that’s perfect for my vanity. It’s called the Odeme Catchall + Ring Dish. Use the code SHOP5 for $5 off your first Pop Sugar Must Have Box!! It also makes a great Christmas or Hanukkah gift to yourself!! Hooray for treating ourselves sometimes!!

I hope everyone has a fabulous holiday with their friends and family!! We have Manny’s sister coming in town for the holiday and I can’t wait. I’m really excited to celebrate baby Sofia’s first Christmas, and my son, Manny Jr.’s second Christmas. I can’t wait for him to open gifts.

XO, Angela

Last week we had our first outing as a family of four. Technically it wasn’t a complete outing since our little  Sofia hasn’t had her first round of shots yet, and couldn’t really be out in about. We picked up a pizza to go since we had cabin fever. I decided getting out was the perfect opportunity to dress up a little. Yep after being in pajamas for a few weeks wearing my favorite denim was dressing up for me. Since becoming a mom I’ve become sentimental about having keepsakes that can be passed down to my children as they get older. For my son I have a personalized bangle with his birthday inscribed on it, and his nickname on the inside. For my daughter, Sofia, were starting off with the cutest gold bottom blush Freshly Picked Moccasins that she can pass down to her little girl someday. I love that these little moccasins will have her sweet little footprint on them in time from wearing them. They are the softest leather, and come in the prettiest colors. They are the perfect keepsake that I can collect for Sofia through all the stages as her little foot grows to add to her memory box.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!!

XO, Angela

Grey on Grey Style

I don’t know about y’all, but do you ever have one of those days where everything that can go wrong does go wrong? Well, the day that I wore this outfit that was totally the case. First, I lost my keys. Something that never happens because we have a place where we hang them. So that completely threw me off. Then I forgot the SD Card for my camera, and realized it as soon as we were going to take photos. So I drove home only to realize after franticly searching it had been in my camera bag the whole time. Yep, that day was the beginning of pregnancy brain showing me it was here. Thankfully they were all things that could be handled fairly easily.

Okay, so lets get on to the outfit. I love this cardigan, and it’s a great deal at under $50. Shop style says it’s sold out, but when I check Nordstrom directly they have it in stock. It’s really good quality for being under $50. It does runs a little big so size down one to two sizes. Usually I wear between a small, or extra small, but ended up needing to go with an extra extra small. I can’t wait to wear it more when the temps in Houston are a little cooler. We’ve been at 90 degrees most of this week with lots of humidity. They are calling for cooler temps this weekend!! Yay!! I’m hopeful it’s going to be cardigan, and booties weather.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope y’all have a great weekend!!

XO, Angela
