Cold Shoulder Top With Peplum Ruffle

This week has been a doozy. My son was sick for the first time this week. Let’s just say trying to keep up with him kicked my butt because after he got sick my husband wasn’t far behind him. So I was busy with both of my guys; plus my sweet Sofi just started teething. So that basically means tons of saliva that turned into congestion. Thank goodness for the Nose Frida. That thing is a life saver.

Okay let’s talk about this cute Filly Flair top. I absolutely love that it’s a cold shoulder top with the cutest understated peplum ruffle at the bottom. I wore it for family day at the park in Houston. It was the perfect top because I felt like me but better. It’s basically the unicorn of tops because I felt stylish, and still kept up with my babies without any wardrobe oops moments. Perfect Spring Top With Lace Detail

This Filly Flair top just came in on Thursday, I’ve already worn it three times, and it’s only Monday. It’s going to be on major repeat this spring/summer for sure. I love the color, the pretty lace detail, and that it’s so soft. It’s sold out, but I’ve linked two really cute tops that are super cute. If you live somewhere that still has some pretty chilly temps add a grey cardigan, and booties. I wore these pink Lisi Lerch earrings that are the perfect statement earring. These are already on repeat because they are my favorite color, super fun, and dangely. They’re the clip on version, and I love it. The best part is I get to wear a bold statment earring that doesn’t weigh my ears down, or do any damage.

Do ya’ll have any big plans coming up. We have friends coming in town to visit over Easter week, and I’m really excited to see them, and celebrate the holiday. They have a daughter that’s just a few months younger than my son. I have a feeling he’s going to love having a friend to play with. There will be adjustements since he hasn’t really had to share his toys yet. Sofi is still too young to take toys from him. So this will be really good practice for him. I plan on making a ham for Easter, but I’m having recipe block on what else to make. Any suggestions are so appreciated!!

Jesus, Coffee, and Naps + Opening Up About Something Personal

A few weeks ago, I came across the company Elly and Grace, and immediately fell in love with their tee shirts, and loved all the cute designs. They are super soft, and really well made. These are biggies for me because I won’t wear anything that feels like it might scratch my sweet Sofi because this lady (That’s me!!) has a stage five clinger. She has to be on momma at all times. This cute Elly and Grace tee shirt had me at hello because I loved the design and the message. It included three of my favorite things.

On a whim I looked at the onesies because there is something so fun about shopping for a baby girl. They had this ‘Answered Prayer’ onesie, and it brought back all the memories good and bad about all the hopes, and dreams I had while going through In Vitro Fertilization or IVF for short. I remember praying to God to please help Manny and I during this time, and thinking if babies aren’t meant to be please give me guidance, and show us what our path truly is. Thankfully babies were, and my sweet Sofi is an answered prayer. We conceived her through a frozen embryo transfer from our first round of IVF. I am so thankful that God brought us the right doctors, nurses, and friends to support us throughout this experience. We couldn’t have done it without their support. They have been there through all the different stages of us growing our family, and we are so grateful. If ya’ll would like me to share more details about my experience with IVF I would be happy to answer whatever questions y’all might have. I’m seriously an open book because it really helped to read other peoples stories that had gone through it.

On a different subjet I have to share this cute Better Life Bags that is made so smartly. I mean it’s made so smartly that at first I was like what’s this handle in the front of the bag for.
