Now that spring is just a few months away we’ve been trying to get out as much as possible with Manny Jr and baby Sofi. We have been taking advantage of the nice temps before it gets too hot and humid to enjoy being outside. Little man loves playing with his dad, and is starting to love kicking, and picking up his soccer ball. The soccer ball was one of the best Christmas gifts!!

We had to get Sofi a carseat for my husbands car. So, we decided to try the Evenflo Pivot Travel System because the carseat snaps into the stroller.  This was a feature we really wanted because if the baby is sleeping the last thing we want to do is wake her. She is definitely mommas baby because she does not like being woken up. We really wanted a stroller that was easy to use, and that we could use with my son as well. This fit all of the criteria on our check list. We’ve been embracing wearing Sofi in the Baby Bjorn when we have both kiddos with us. Little man gets to enjoy his chair and snack tray. He loves being independent, and the snack tray allows us to put goodies in there for him to snack on while we go for walks. It just makes life so much easier because my son can sit in the stroller, and one of us can wear Sofi. She loves being close to us.

The reason I ended up going with the Evenflo Pivot Travel System was because I really liked that the carseat could click into the stroller, or I could adjust the regular stroller seat to be a bassinet. So, those were features I loved. The stroller is easy to put up, and isn’t heavy or bulky. I really like that it doesn’t take up a lot of trunk space.

  • I wish the actual box that the stroller came in had handles, or indentions that went in. It was really hard to move this heavy box on my own.
  • I wish the stroller bar was covered with another material that wasn’t foam. I’ve found in my experience the foam can get sticky if you live somewhere hot and humid. Houston is definitely both of those.
  • The handle bar height isn’t adjustable, and I worry that this could pose a challenge for someone whose taller than me.
  • There is lots of under carriage space for all the odds and ends needed for the baby. So, you’ll have plenty of space for the diaper bag and handbag.
  • I love how easy, and intuitive it is to fold and unfold. Very similar to the UppaBaby brand in regards to how easy it is to fold and unfold. Huge bonus here!!
  • The stroller seat carries up to 50 lbs.
  • Love the two colors the stroller comes in.
  • Love that the toddler chair can transform into a bassinet.
  • Love the nice big canopy on the stroller seat, and carseat.

Valentine’s is next week, and I’ve rounded up some gifts for the sweet little ones in your life!! These are for the littlest ones that love us no matter what. I love toys that my son can interact with, and play with for hours. Thankfully, my son loves almost anything that he can stack, or has wheels. Lately he’s loving books, and I love story time with him. So, the Farm Tails book looks like a really fun interactive book for little ones. All of these gifts are perfect for an active toddler. I wear T-Shirts 90% of the time because they are really easy to dress up, or down depending what my day looks like. These Lush T-Shirts are my favorite T-Shirts because they are so soft, the cut is amazing, and I love that these T-Shirts embrace the high low trend. Meaning these Lush T-Shirts fall higher in the front, and lower in the back. Which is great for all of us ladies with booties that want a little extra coverage.

How to dress up the perfect T-Shirt in 10 easy ways

  • Wear jeans in a darker wash.
  • Pair it with a pencil skirt, or textured skirt.
  • Add an extra layer of color and pattern with a scarf. This can be tied around the neck, or draped over the shoulders.
  • Wear a vest with some embellishment.
  • Wear a blazer or bolero jacket. Embrace a jacket with a little extra shine or sequins.
  • Add a pump or stiletto.
  • Wear a statement necklace, or layer two necklaces. I love doing this with a delicate necklace, and a statement necklace. I did this with the Bauble Bar necklace, and Stella and Dot necklace I’m wearing today.
  • Wear dressy shorts in a fabric that’s shiny, or has some added texture. Brocade shorts are one my favorites to take a simple T-Shirt up a notch.
  •  Ditch the natural look, and add a smokey eye, or bold red lip.
  • Either wear super sleek straight hair, or add some volume with loose curls.

In other news, we had such a great weekend!! We went to a fun event on Saturday for the Super Bowl with the kiddos, and then went to the park. Thankfully the park was across the street from the event. Little man had a blast running around with his daddy. He had so much fun kicking his soccer ball (Christmas gift that he’s finally starting to love!!), and running around. If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my Instastory with him running with a big smile on his face. I love how excited he is about everything. He was mind blown when he was on the elevator over the weekend. He’s been on an elevator before, but since he’s getting older he’s so much more aware of what’s going on. This is one of my favorite stages so far!! I can’t believe he will turn two on February 21!! Hope y’all had a great weekend!!
