Hooray it’s Friday!! I wish, I could shout that from somewhere amazing, but my daughter is sleeping as I write this post so I’ll settle for whispering it from the comfort of my bed. Two weeks ago my Start Planner arrived, and I have been enjoying becoming familiar with it. This is the Hustle Daily Business Planner version , and so far I really love it. It has a place for everything from personal schedules, health, home and business goals. It even has an area for setting goals for your businesses marketing, social media planning, and budgeting. Hooray!! Budgeting isn’t always fun, but it’s gotta be done, especially when going through the difficult process of choosing a financial planner. This makes it easy. Oh and they have an area for recording all your passwords. Something I love because mom brain is a real thing, and I swear I forget passwords way more often than I want to admit. Having to reset them, and then update then on all your devices is such a headache. So, I am taking advantage of this planner.

When I was pregnant I knew having a toddler, and a newborn meant I needed to get my plan on if I wanted to have a good balance between being a good mom, wife, and blogger. Blogging is something I love because it gives me an outlet to be creative with fashion, and beauty. Since I use to be a hairstylist having this blog has given me a feeling that I still get to flex my creative muscle in my brain while still being able to be the kind of full time SAHM I want to be. If you are interested in starting up your own blog, then you should go for it. There are loads of things that you could do your blog on though, you just have to find something that you love doing. Once you have decided on what you want to start your blog on though, the it would be a good idea to get yourself a web hosting provider. There are so many out there, that you might want to just spend five minutes and think about what would work best for you. For example, you might be interested in using something like this linux hosting, but it’s up to you.

Okay it’s outfit time. It’s been a little over six weeks since my daughter was born, and thankfully I fit in my heavy jeans. I still have a ways to go before I can fit into my normal jeans, but it’s okay. I’m not stressing too much over it. I’m keeping up with my physical activity with my FitBit again. I did this after I had my son, and it really helped to keep me accountable to myself. Plus the numbers don’t lie. By numbers I don’t mean the scale. I mean the steps. If I wasn’t very active well then my number of steps in low. Since I’m not completely comfortable with my post baby body long cardigans are my best buddy. I love this one. You’ve seen me in the grey version a lot on my blog, and those of you that follow my Instagram have seen it a whole lot.

Well it’s getting late, and I have a feeling my little Sofi is going to wake up soon so I better go. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!! I’m hoping for pretty weather. It’s been raining non stop the last few days in Houston.

XO, Angela

Valentines Gift Ideas Under $50 For Her

January 18, 2017

Valentines Gifts For Her Under $50 | Pretty In Her Pearls

Valentine is about three weeks away!! Holy moly 2017 already feels like it’s flying by. Okay, so I’ve linked nine of my favorite Valentines gifts for her that aren’t going to put your guy in the poor house. Everything is under $50 that I want. Well, of course there are things over $50 that I would love, but this momma is on a budget. So, let’s get started with all the things wish list related. I should probably forward this to my hubby as well!!

1.This Paula’s Choice Resist C15 Super Booster is something I really want to try. It’s a really concentrated Vitamin C that improves skin complexion, brightens dull skin, and helps with the effects of the environment. I love that it can be added to your normal moisturizer, or serums you’re already using. Just add a few drops to whatever you’re using already. Seriously want to try this!! So this is perfect for us ladies!! Can I say spa day at home!! Pampering!!

2.The BaubleBar Andra Crystal Choker is gorgeous!! I love that it sparkles, and would be perfect for a dressed up or down outfit. It would elevate any casual outfit, and add a little extra sparkle to a dressier outfit.

3. I am in love with this Acrylic Block Monogram Necklace!! I want this for my monogram collection pretty please. If you want this by Valentines ordered it today!! Since it’s personalized it will take little longer than everything else on the Valentines gift guide!!

4. These Tassel Earrings are gorgeous!! I love the gorgeous bead color, and that they add a little extra glamour to any outfit. This gorgeous blue color has already sold out, but they come in red, and a red and pink ombre combination as well. Love them all!! Order them soon since they are selling out quickly!!

5.This Palm Tree Scarf had me at first sight. I love the color combination of green, white, and pink. It’s just so pretty, and I can already imagine it styled with a neutral blouse, and skinny jeans. So snag this one asap!!

6.The crawler earring trend is going strong, and I love these Crystal Triangle Crawlers. They feel glamorous, and edgy at the same time.

7.This Travel Train Case/Travel Makeup Bag is perfect for the gal that travels a lot, or is on the go all the time. As a blogger, we have lots of events so I love it because I definitely need to touch up on the go, and sometimes it needs a little touching up, and sometimes it needs a whole lot of touching up love!! It never hurts to have a carry on bag of goodies to freshen up with right? It comes in a lot of different colors too!!

8.Lately, I’ve been loving Rose water anything!! It might have to do with an infused Rose water  Champagne cocktail I had not too long ago. This Hibiscus Infused Rose Water Mist is the perfect hint of rose, and such an amazing refresher for the skin. Also, rose anything goes perfectly with Valentines!!

9.These cute aviator sunnies are such a cute look a like to some of the pricier ones. Plus if they get lost it isn’t heart breaking since they are a whopping $12!!

Alright, I think I’ve got you covered with some great Valentines gift ideas under $50. What’s even sweeter since they are all at various price points you can ask for a few of the gifts on this list. Might as well combine a few items you like, and forward it to your guy or gal!! Happy Valentines shopping y’all!!

XO, Angela

Laid Back Attire Equals Tandoori Spice Lush T-Shirt

Cardigan:Nordstrom sold out (similar style) | T-Shirt:Nordstrom this color is sold out, but it comes in white, black and blue!! | Denim:Lucky Brand | Shoes:Nordstrom sold out (similar style) | Handbag:Louis Vuitton (similar style) | Earrings:Lisi Lerch old (similar style) | Necklace:Monogram old (similar style), Kendra Scott | Bracelets:Kendra Scott c/o, Alex and Ani, Kate Spade old (similar style) | Watch:Micheal Kors | Lips:New favorite combo Maybelline Nude Thrill and Nyx Sydney on top!! Love it!!

Happy Monday!! I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend with lots of down time, and relaxing with your family. We had a busy to do list on Saturday. We did lots of errands, and took down our Christmas decorations. It was a little depressing because I just love the way the house looks with the Christmas tree, stocking, and lights outside. Thankfully my hubby took care of most of the packing up of our Christmas decorations.  If it was socially acceptable I’d probably keep them up all year long. The one thing that is nice is not having to tell my son don’t touch the tree every two minutes.

In other news, I’ve been living in this Tandoori Spice Lush T-Shirt. It’s super soft, fits perfectly, and the pocket is in the perfect location. Pocket local might sound minor, but it can seriously make, or break a cute T-Shirt. If it’s too low cut for you add a lacy tank underneath it. For all my girls with bums this T-Shirt is short in front, and longer in the back. So it’s the perfect to for us!! Yay!! It’s the perfect length to tuck in, half tucked (I hope that’s an expression), or untucked. So it I will probably pick a few more of these up since they are comfortable, and under under $25.  Y’all can probably tell by my Instagram feed, I’ve been living in this cardigan. It’s cozy, has pockets, and comes in a lot of different colors. The gray version is sold, but I linked it’s look alike above.

Hope y’all had a great weekend!! Thanks so much for stopping by to give my little space some love!!

XO, Angela
