The Biscuit Wall was on my bucket list of walls that I wanted to take pictures in front of. Last week, we had a family day that was in the same area of Houston as this colorful wall. So you know I had to take photos in front of it!! Timing was on my side because right after we were finished the skies opened, and it rained Friday afternoon into the weekend!! I’m not talking a drizzle here or there, but rain that turned into flooding.

This shirt dress is one of my oldie but goodies. These dresses are one of my favorites to wear when I am out with baby Manny because they are stylish, and functional. Some of my dresses have been dangerously close to having a wardrobe malfunction Janet Jackson style because my little guy loves to pull. I’ve worn this dress while I was pregnant here, and not pregnant of course with a skinny belt here. Adding a belt to this dress is crucial for my petite frame. Otherwise I end up looking a little shapeless, lose my waist, and then the proportions are all off. Skinny belts helps with this without taking the eye from the whole outfit. Hope you had a great weekend!!

XO, Angela

Classic Camel Coat & The Turtleneck…

They’re available!!) | Purse:Old (similar style so cute!!) | Earrings:Bauble Bar sold out (similar style) | Necklace:J.Crew | Bracelets:Kate Spade old (similar style), Stella and Dot | Watch:Micheal Kors | Lips:Love Lorn

Taupes, browns, and blacks have me wanting to add more of them to my closet. Because more is more right? Something about wearing these colors together makes me feel like I should be in a Burberry ad. I know that’s not reality, but it’s fun feeling like I’m that chic. If you’re in need of a cute outfit to take the little ones trick or treating this is a really good option. If the booties heel is going to be a killer for walking to all the different houses this bootie, or boot will go perfectly too. This outfit is definitely a contender for all the Thanksgiving, and Christmas get togethers coming up for me. What is one of your favorites to wear for holiday get togethers? I can’t wait to hear because I am always looking for cute and functional outfits. My little guy is really into pulling on my necklaces so I have been going with sturdier statement necklaces lately. Look forward to hearing from y’all!!! Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Getting Chic to Trick-or-Treat

October 28, 2015

Chic mommy trick- or-treat style

1.White tee (Because really everyone needs these for layering!!)

2.Black denim (Always a must have in the cooler months!!)

3.Sparkly earrings (All year round must have!!)

4.Jacket (Love the color, and the price point is ohh so nice!!)

5.FitBit (It helps to keep me motivated to keep moving!!)

6.Scarf (Fall and winter necessity!! Ohh and I love them!! Instead of a statement necklace wear statement scarf!!)

7.Bag (Holy fringe!!! I love this, and a pop of pink is never bad!!)

8.Booties (Brown booties are one of new favorites to mix in!!)

This is our first Halloween as a family of three, and I am so excited to share baby Manny’s costume with my friends and neighbors. With that in mind I have been brainstorming cute, functional outfits to wear to take him around to our neighbors in. Btw can’t wait share his cute costume with you. I’ll give you a hint! It definitely stays in theme with his bedroom. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
