Winter is officially here, and it feels like anything but winter in Houston. These light weight J.Crew sweaters are my absolute favorite to wear. It’s warm one moment, and cool the next so I really like layering with them. This outfit is also perfect for fall football game days because it has a dressy yet laid back feel. This purple sweater has been on continuous repeat the last few weeks. I forgot how much I love J.Crew’s sweater!! Hands down they make some of my favorite sweaters. The cut is great, and they feel amazing!! Ohh and did I mention they can be worn on their own or layered. This is something I love!! Versatile pieces are a must have in the closet. I wore this to take Manny Jr. to see Santa over the weekend. We learned he isn’t a fan of Santa. Crossing my fingers he’s a little happier to see him next year.

In other news, baby Manny is officially 10 months old!! Where is the time going!! Seriously I feel like it’s going too fast. I’m loving being his mom, and all the fun stages he’s going through. It’s no secret that I love midi skirts, and when they flare like this one I am in outfit heaven. This is one of my favorites for date night with my husband in the fall. It covers up just enough so that I’m not freezing, but still feels chic and fashionable. Two very important things in my book on date night. Because really what’s the point in date night if we don’t feel cute. Are you with me? (I have a feeling you all know what I mean.) This skirt makes me feel like I should be in an Audrey Hepburn movie having a big cappuccino, or maybe that’s the sleep deprived part of me. Either way this skirt which was a steal at drum roll…$2o and is so worth it!!! I kept my outfit really classic, but it would also be very cute with a crop top like this one in cream. That’s the great thing about the cut of this skirt since it high waisted either style of top will look great!! Not only that, but it pairs so well with so many kinds of shoes. At the moment i’m in love with my heels, but if I choose to grab some women’s narrow fitting shoes then I can be happy that they’ll still work flawlessly with this skirt. It’s just that good!!!
