3 Shopping Tips Every Girl Should Ask

This month, I’ve been asking myself three questions before I go shopping. The three questions are can I wear it for mom duty, lunch with the girls/blogger gals, and can it be dressed up. These are literally the three things that I think when I’m shopping. Of course if you’re not a SAHM then adjust the mom duty criteria to something like can I wear it to work, or on the weekends. Depending on how dressy your office is the can I wear it to wear question might need to just be can I wear it on the weekends, or in my free time. So, there are of course exceptions to the rule because there are certain pieces you just have to have for a special occassion like an anniversary, wedding, holiday party, or a special occasion date night.

My advice when shopping with those three questions in mind is take lots of different options into the fitting room, and literally ask yourself those three questions. I’ll list them below as well. You will be amazed how much it will help you really buy pieces you’ll love, and actually wear. I always try to remember to ask myself those questions so I don’t have buyers remorse, or buy clothes that don’t fit my day to day lifestyle. My other tip is if you like something that’s expensive, but there’s a less expensive version that’s just not quite as great go for the more expensive version. Otherwise, you’ll be forever comparing, and wishing you had gotten the more expensive item in the first place. Just remember to wear it, and then you’ll get your return on investment (ROI).That’s the only finance term I know, and I use it whenever I’m debating on a splurge item.

The T-Shirt You Need Now

The last couple days have been a whirl wind of being crazy busy. Thankfully, these Lush tees have been keeping me looking like a stylish momma instead of like an overwhelmed one. These are super soft, run tts, and the v-neck detail is so cute. It comes in four colors, and is super figure flattering. I love that it’s a little longer in the back too because it gives my bum some shade. Hooray!!

I love these Lucky Brand jeans, but definitely size down. I really wish I had sized down because I have to pull these bad boys up a half a dozen times a day usually. Otherwise, I look like my bum is at my knees. Thankfully it’s not at my knees.

Ya’ll doesn’t my Sofi girl look so cute. I love these Baby Bling Bows so much. They are so stretchy, don’t leave indentions on my baby girls head, and they come in lots of colors. I picked a few really cute ones in some of the prettiest shades under the rainbow.

Hi, so this is completely unplanned, but I wanted to keep y’all in the loop. My hubby, and I had to go out of town last minute for a family emergency. I won’t go into too much detail about the what’s going on, but let’s just say it was necessary. I won’t be blogging next week because in the rush to get two babies under two, plus all their stuff I couldn’t figure out how to safely pack my camera too. Seriously these little people need a lot of stuff. If y’all have any tips, or suggestions I’m totally open. This is our first flight with both babies. I’ve flown with Pookie 3 or 4 times, but flying with both of them had me scared. I will say it didn’t go as bad as I had imagined.

A few days ago, I was on Facebook, and saw a photo of a pumpkin spice latte that said 6 more weeks till pumpkin spice everything begins. It made me so excited for fall, cooler temps, and dressing in cute leggings, over sized tops, and riding boots. Ohh and of course pumpkin spice lattes. Yep, I’m totally that basic. Haha!! This is one of my absolute favorite looks when it starts to feel chilly out. I do realize that living in Texas means even when fall officially arrives it’ll totally still probably be in the 90’s.
